no tach?

Default no tach?
i have no tach after an engine install. any ideas why not? everything else seems to work.

Problem with teh cam position sensor, located next to the oil pressure sensor in back of the intake manifold. Possibly unplugged it or pinched some wires. Scan for codes...

is that the long black thing that screws into the block? or a different one.

Its right next to that one. Its a flush mount with the top of the block.
