They "negotiate" before each race, what you can run and how many car length lead you get.

The only good thing about it was that they were racing F-body's

Loose two out of three and loose your car.

Definatly not on my list of shows to watch in the future.

I watched it last night also. It was more aggravating than entertaining. The guy that lost his car, looked like he was 30 seconds from bawling his eyes out! :cry: I don't think it'll even last a whole season.

you guys saw that show? it came on here at like 3am on speed channel, it was cool to see fbodies, but yeah, when the guy puts his hands down, do they count 1 sec for each car length or something? i didnt quite get that part. That dude was a stock engine with a 50shot, LOL.

If the guy counted 1 sec, the other car would already be about 10 car lengths ahead. 1 tenth of a sec would be 1 car length. To be consistent and accurate, they need a tree.

It should just be heads up.

i agree the 1st episode was frustrating to watch, the host was irritating to say the least. the cars were great though, and the premise of a 2/3 takes the looser's car is a great premise to build a show on. they just need to either make it heads up, or use a tree and spot exact time, like a bracket race. this "i'll spot you 3 car lengths...." is way high school shananagins.

I thought that shit was gay as hell. At first i was like these guys have a serious set of nuts since they are willing to put up there cars for a race. That lt1 car looks like it puts it down but that other dood came on tv saying he was gonna shut the other guy up and then asked for 13 cars. He got 8 and lost to a guy who hurt his motor during the pass .A very unimpressive showing. Plus i heard the ownership was never transfered over so its fake too. All very very gay. Nothing worse than setting up bs races trying to fool people for some video.

That's what I was figuring as well. That it's all for the cameras, but behind the scenes they don't actually get to keep the other driver's car.

Cool concept, but they really need to work on the details because it was difficult to watch. But then again, I've always said that street racing isn't a spectator sport.....but what do I know.

You know the show where Courtney Hansen makes all the weird faces when her co-host is taking. Oh, and she says exactly what her co-host just said. What’s with the baseball cap look??? Tell me this, why does co-host Chris Jacobs disguise his voice on the cell phone when he has never talked to the person that’s being Overhauled??? The best is when they bring out Chip Foose who is really handcuffed (why not just put his hands behind him?) then they can’t get him out of them. Meanwhile the victim dude is jumping all over him.

Pinks :gay: - what is the big rush?? The host states right after the race you have 30 seconds to get back to the line. Then he berates them about how they have 15 seconds to workout the handicap after each one just sandbagged one race. I think the show could have been better presented for its first episode. Did you see this weeks show? They are doing motorcycles. Guess they ran out of cars already…. :nono:

I think it would have been alot better if it were two evenly matched cars..would have saved some of the bitching and moaning.

they did an episode w/ two motorcycles, heads up, no "leads", that was cool, but as usual the host was a toolhead.

then the 3rd episode saw more stupid "car lengths" stuff, host was even more obnoxious.....

but i will keep watching this show, cause the basic premise is very cool. replace the host and the video editor and you got a great show.
