Default TSP 224 or F13, or other? So many cams, so many choices which one?

There are so many cams out on this board my head is spinning. I think I've narrowed down to two choices, but only b/c they are the most poplular, the TSP224 or the Futral F13.

This car is a weekend/daily type driver. Most my time is spent btw 1500-4000rpm, and a few rips up to 5500-6300 rpm. Goal is to have an increase in torque through the whole rpm band at minimum, and the obvious increase in hp. Target numbers are 410rwhp+ and torque. Definately want that choppy cam sound, have a show car, want a show/go sound too.
(Mods: Janzer ported TB, smooth bellows, lid/green filter, FLP longtubes w/ high flow cats, B&B Tri-flo catback, predator tuning, stock rear all on a 02 WS6.) Will use stock head only.

From what I gather, the F13 seems to be the most miraculous cam in providing both low end torque and good hp. Haven't seen too much on the 224 cam. I also believe the F13 is more streetable/drivable than the 224. Is this true?

Are there other cams to look into that would provide this benefit I overlooked? Right now TSP has an awesome sale going on, but if this cam is not going to provide what I need/want, then I will wait till something else goes on sale.

Thanks for any help and suggestions to a cam newbie

A 224 is not going to give you 410 hp. The F13 could get you the 410 that you are looking for. The 224 is going to be more streetable though. My vote goes towards the F13.

I don't know about the TSP 224 but I do know about the F13. I have it and I love it. I didn't hit the 400 mark but got close. Probably would have but I cheaped out and didn't get the ported throttle body and the UD pulley. If you get the F13 you will need to get a tune to take full advantage of it. I was running a tune for my TR224 when I put the F13 in and it did pretty good but I picked up about 24 more HP when I got it tuned for the F13.

i say go w/ the F13. it does seem to be getting a lot of torque, and will be definately choppy at idle. and it will give you much more high rpm power.

The 224 won't get you 410. The F-13 prolly won't get you that either. You aren't going to get much lope from the F-13. Depending on what you biggest prioraties are I'd go with the F-14. It will lose a little low-end from the f-13, but it will get you closer to that 410rwhp. It will also lope a lot more.
