Default Paiitng intake...do I need Heat Res. paint??

Some say yes and some say no. Anyone have any problems using regular paint??

when sanding, you more concentrated on the runners right? I really dont see a purpose for all the little nooks and crannys.

Yes you can use a regular paint. Intake doesnt get hot enough to warrant using a high temp paint. Also I would use a bulldog adhesion promoter before spraying your base color. This will get the hard to reach stuff that your sandpaper or scotch pad couldnt get to.

No, mine is painted with black base coat and then cleared over...my intake is a FAST 90mm, so I started with that ugly light gray (IMO)...I guess you probably could just clear a GM black intake, though...
