Default Painting nose

I was kind of wanting to get my nose repainted on my 1997 Camaro. I have only taken it to one place so far, that i know does good work, for an estimate, but they told me $400. They said it was so expensive because they would have to take the bumber completely off. I know I've seen it done with it on the car, should i keep searching for a place that will paint it with it on, or would the results be better with it off?

Key words...the two after "99 firebird" and before "for $279."

Get the quality paint job or don't bother at all.

I'd request that they leave it on the car at least when they're spraying the bc/cc. You'll want them to blend the color up onto the fenders and hood. Otherwise, the nose is more than likelly not going to match the rest of the car. They'll have to clear the front fenders and hood in order to do it, but the results will be worth it.

Ok, thanks. I dont think it will be as hard to blend since I have the mystic teal paint and it kinda changes colors. I dont mind paying the money to get it done right, but there are a couple other things that I wanna get fixed as well and it all adds up really fast. And the other things are just small, I'm the only one that notices them, so I'm always thinking..."should I fix the small, or just do some more mods?"

i dont know, i think it would be pretty hard to paint the bumper with it on, with all the curves from the fog lights and stuff.
