Attaching sub to stealth box
This might be a very basic question. Since I never installed a sub, I will ask.
To mount the sub to the box (subthump stealth), what size screws do I want to use? The sub is an alpine type R 10".
Do I want to go all the way through the box, or just partly?

Not sure what you mean buy "all the way through the box", but the screws should stick out inside the box.....if that's what you mean. No, they shouldn't be through the mounting surface and through the entire opposite side of the box sticking out! lol Use the largest size screws that will fit through the mounting screw holes on the subwoofer. Course threaded is preferred. But make sure the screws don't crack the wood when you screw them in. Pilot holes help a ton.

Of course I don't mean for the screw to come out the other side of the box (12" screws??? don't think so ) I was referring to the mounting flange.
I think i'm going to use something called T-nuts. They have several prongs that dig into the mdf. They go in from the back side, then from the front, you use a machine screw to attach.

<shrug>.. I just don't want the speaker loosening after a while. What I may just do instead is use the extra sheet metal screws I have left, attach those clips on the backside (speed clips) with contact cement, let 'em set, then use the 1" or 1.25" screws..
