Default Breaking head bolts?

I'm wondering if people ever have problems with breaking head bolts trying to remove them.

I know some people have had problems breaking oem head bolt when torquing them.

I've been thinking of doing a head swap myself, Redneck Z scared me with thoughts of headblots broken in my block.

Far as I know the heads have never been taken off, it's a 98 with 85,000 or so.

What do ya think? Should I worry?

Thanks

Thumbs up

What can you do? Not work on your engine for fear of breaking something? That's silly. There's a hell of a lot more people not breaking bolts than there are people breaking bolts. Just do it and think positive. You are worrying about something that may never happen. The odds are in your favor young Jedi.

I agree.

That was my fear during my heads/cam swap too. Everything worked out fine after all.
