Default To gut or not to gut?

hey all, i just recently installed the TSP catted y. ONLY reason i went with a catted Y was for emission purposes. i want the most power and sound and i was wondering how much gutting these cats would help. my understanding is that the magnaflow cats used in teh tsp y flow very well. any suggestions?

gutting the cats will give you the most power and sound over normal cats. You should gain about 5 hp or so, and it will be louder.
