My stage2 just broke. Installed in november & broke 2 weeks ago. Car sat in the garage for almost three months after installed because of winter weather. Warranty was half gone before i could even drive it. It has never been at the track and has only been at WOT once on the street since install. It took over 2 months after i placed my order to get the transmission from speed inc so if you need one now you better order directly from dr. evil. Billy (owner of dr evil) and everyone else at dr evil are really nice people and will help answer any questions you have. I know this because speed inc couldnt answer f*ck so i had to call billy. Also, dont order tranny fluid from speed inc. After i called billy they told me the fluid speed inc said to use voids the warranty on the transmission.

I have their stage 3 "maximimum evil" tranny. Picked it up a little over a month ago. I have put about 1,500 miles and a dozen track passes on it so far, a few WOT 4-2 downshifts, plenty of fun on the street and one high speed run that ran into the beginning of overdrive. Tranny shifts and feels great. I hope that at the rate I put miles on it I can go about two years before having it refreshed with new clutches/bands.

I've ran Speed inc's extreme transmissions (before they started using DR EVIL). A stage 2 and a stage 3...had some issues with the stage 2..the stage 3 worked great for over a year of me beating on it. Still worked when I pulled it out
4L60E's can be made to hold some power, they just don't hold it for long

I'd refresh the clutches in a 4L60E at the end of every racing season
