Well a couple of weeks ago I went to our local 1/8 mile track and ran a best of 7.92. I went again last night to get some new times on the gas. It was quite a bit hotter, so it didn't run as good as I wanted but here are the results.

reaction-----.503
60 ft--------1.775
594 ft-------7.111
1/8 et-------7.601
1/8 mph-----91.83

That was on a 100 shot and it was breaking loose(not real bad...just chattering the tires quite a bit), so I never got to put the 150 pills in. I have the Harlan window switch set to 3000 and 6000. I am really disappointed in the mph being so low. The only thing I can think of is I am loosing by not spraying through the shifts. I picked up 5 mhp and .4 over my NA run. Anyway, that should be good to easily get me in the 11 sec club, right? Once I got home I pulled some of the plugs to check them and realized that 4 of the 8 plugs were very loose. So I am sure that is what was hurting my times. Usually the car runs 7.90 NA but Friday night it only ran a best of 8.03 NA and I jsut assumed that it was the temp. I'm sure the temp had alot to do with it but the plugs were very loose also. What do you guys think of the times? Mods are in the sig.

Nice times. Remember it is damn hot outside right now. Cars are going to slow down this time of the year.

Yeah..it was pretty humid outside Friday. I think it has a 7.5x pass in it with the 100 jets. Overall I am very happy. It has no weight reduction and all options including leather and it is a t-top car..so it is a pig that is for sure.

Let me ask you guys a ? here.. doen't the NO2 change everything.. What I mean here is I heard by running NO2.. It makes the car seem like its running at a lower DA and the humidity doesn't really have too much effect on the car while running the gas... Is this correct or not???

TH94Z,

congrats on new times, loose plugs can slow you down a bit, trust me i know, lmao!!

i can only speak from my experience, but hot humid weather slows even n2o cars down a bit! the bottle helps but only so much.

Yeah I mean if the car is running 2 or 3 tenths slower NA because of the humidity, then that is 2 or 3 tenths slower on the gas, right?

it is tough to compare it as "apples to apples", but you still suffer as you rely on your environment that you are racing in just as you do on the bottle for that extra umph :)

5 mph does seem alittle low for an a4 with a 100 shot. i would expect around 7.

That is what I was thinking. It only goes 86 NA which seems a little low too. Granted it was hot this weekend. The only thing I can think of is that I am not spraying through the shifts..I am only spraying from 3000-6000. So there is a little mph I am sure. I am thinking about spraying through the shifts this weekend to see if it helps any. I know this is not a good thing to do, but I am just curious to see if that is where some of the mph is hiding.
