Default 100 Dry Shot Questions

I have a question as I am more familiar with wet kits than I am dry kits. I am about to get a car with 100 dry shot on it. Do I need any kind of fuel system upgrades to do this? It's a 98 Z28 A4 with a Vig 3800 Stall. Thanks in advance

should be good with the stock fuel setup....still not a bad idea to get it on the dyno for the wideband a/f.

I believe the 98's had the smaller 26lb injectors, so 100hp is about the limit with any other bolt-ons. Some have got away with 125hp (myself included) but not all cars can handle much bigger with the 26lb's. I agree, do some logging.

nope, the '98s and '01-'02s had the 28 pound injectors....'99-'00 had the 26s.

also, the '98s have a larger fuel pump than even the '01-'02....

it's my car he's looking to buy, so i didnt want him getting any mistaken info.

Yes your right, thanks for the correction. In addition the 97/98 vettes also had 28lbs, and I had a '97 with the good fuel pump and rail mounted reg with the return line which is the best stock fuel system. with the 28lbs some (myself) can run the 125 jets with out issue, though some can't, logging is in order.
