Default SC'd S2000 vs LS1 vs 05 Carrera S

Pretty nice vid... Click!

S2000 is running stock Vortech supercharger @ ~ 7-8 psi, test pipe, exhaust, clutch and lightweight flywheel vs. new 05 Carrera S, and LS1 Camaro, which I think is stock (has stock exhaust, so don't expect it to have any other mods, but who knows.)

good kill.. kinda glad i got rid of my s2000 though.. $5k for a S/C to run even w/ a bone stock LS1 seems kinda crazy. lol $5k in mods now is good for 10's on a LS1. lol

True, but different animals for different purposes. I like driving tight windy roads, and doing road course events. The S2000 is very well balanced, and it was much easier to add power to a well balanced (and light) car, than to get a heavier car and get it to handle as well. To out handle the S2000, the LS1 would have to put in equal or more funds (but that's another topic all together).

However, I wish I had the funds to have gotten a new C6 tho with the ZR1 package - that was my first choice. I'm now saving up for the C6 Z06. The ulimate in balance of power and handling.
