So this blue Mach 1 drives by me and gets caught at a red light. I roll up next to him, trying to look over, but we both have really dark tinted windows so that didn't really work. I opened my cutout. Now I have 2 other people and a load of stuff that I am bringing to Chelan, so I wasn't too confident about this, not to mention from a dig or in gears 3-6 my clutch slips BAD at WOT. So I didn't jump off the line, the light turned green and we just started rolling out. 1st gear at about 3k rpm, his nose is about a half car in front of mine. Right then, we both put the hammer down! I kind of fast-granny shifted 2nd which made me lose about 1/4 car length, but by the top of 2nd my nose was still a few feet in front of his rear bumper.. Then we had to hit the brakes because there was traffic. But anyways, it sucks that I didn't get to beat him, but I'm almost certain that with 350 less pounds in the car I would have been out in front of him. So I'm pretty proud because I think those things run like 13-13.5ish stock.

Nice man! yeah definatly if you had him with the extra weight, You would definetly pulled harder on him with the excess baggage. Get that clutch fixed man, We need to race.

It sounds like you did pretty well for yourself, those Mach 1's are supposed to be pretty fast Get that clutch and get those fat guys outta your car and you're in business

The Mach 1 I saw @ PR was running mid 13s. Faster than the low 14 sec 05 GTs....pick on them.

Most '05s I see don't even want to race. They are too afraid they will scratch their new car. Or they know they are driving the latest POS out of Detroit.

Good pull though, Eric. Get Ellis working on that clutch.
