cleaning up the engine bay...what dont i need?

Default cleaning up the engine bay...what dont i need?

i'm currently swapping a ls1/t56 into a 94 trans am. i'm trying to figure out what i need to keep in the engine bay before i yank everything else out.

i want to keep the a/c, power steering, and the basic radio/light/ brake accessories...what else dont i need?

EGR and AIR systems can go if you have them. Don't forget to get the computer tuned for this so you aren't throwing codes.

sorry, 99 ls1.

no egr, no air, cool. anything else?

when pulling stuff off the car, i've got the condensor hanging out by a tube. the tube runs all the way back to the passenger side firewall into a box. do i need any of this? what does it do?

You could move the battery into the hatch area if you want to.

there's always fuel rail covers, or braided steel hose, that tends to make an engine bay look "clean", IMO.

the tube running from the condensor runs to the evaporator that is just behind the passenger side dash. don't **** with it unless u want an asshot a/c system.
