Default HP tuners connection problem

I went to upload a new tune today and everytime I tried to connect it kept showing cable not found. After a few tries, I plugged into my truck and connected just fine. Tried the car again, nothing. What could this be?

I don't think that is it, the cable works fine in my truck, and in my car, just not my buddies.

well i got mine to work after disconnecting and reconnecting it all and no matter what i did before that it wouldnt work. its worth trying at least. if his isnt connecting check his cig lighter fuse and make sure its not blown, and that he has no loose wires

what's up fellas? my car is the one that 99formulaws6 is trying to work with. i checked the fuse and the port and everything is fine. my buddies autotap reads it fine and also today i had a mechanic hook his laptop up to it that he uses to fix cars, it read it and told me what code my car was throwing. p1153 it just doesn't make any sense though, this has got 99 formulaws6 and me confused. hey 99formulaws6, if you find out anything or if you can get danny's software, call me. thanks for the help

This is really weird. I had the same issue and it turned out to bew the cig lighter fuse. I replaced that and it was connect.

Scully just called and his lighter fuse was blown, so we're gonna try again. Cook, it wouldn't upload the program OR scan.
