It depends on when you purchased them. Mine are fairly old (stg2 241 casting)aprox. June '03, I was told by Jay they are Manleys. They came w/comp 987s. I believe that the newer heads w/977s(?) used the .100" longer REV valves. Atleast this is the story i got last time I checked into it.

i got my heads just about 6 month before you ed. i remember following your saga and was glad that i actually got my heads. i was told by jay at the time that the heads had REV valves. i know that's what he said on the custom 2.04" valves.
i'm not real sure just how accurate this information may be as jay used a different spring then what was told to me, so take it for what it's worth.
good luck to you

If what he said were true back then you have rev valves.
Call them and get one valve or call the machine shop he used as I believe they have some in stock.
Go to the sponsor section and look at the post with like 350 reply's under absolute speed for details on the machine shop.

For about AS's last 6 months the way I understand it the valves were +.100 Rev's 2.02/1.57. Mine were set up 1.830 intake and 1.870 exhaust with 978 springs. I don't know the name of the shop that did the CNC work but I think it was on Long Island. My castings are 862 as I recall.

Do they sell them separately? Where is the best place to buy them??

Check Rev Valves on Google I think they are in Ft Lauderdale. Is Jay making himself available again? I know he screwed some guys but other than a long wait he gave me a good set of heads. I personally think he was a nice guy that bit off more than he could chew. What disturbes me is that I think a few guys never did get their heads or money back. I didn't follow all of the last nightmare posts, but I will say if he made everybody whole and went back into business I would consider dealing with him. I'm sure I'll get flamed on that comment.

Just ordered it directly from REV. $18.00 Don't tell me you could have gotten it cheaper.
