Looks like rain for Wed CCC...
Looking like rain for Wed.. I'll be there if it clears.
Should be getting the 3400 stall converter this week, took my cats off too..kinda sounds like crap..not super loud, but I'm not liking the sound now. Could be my magnaflow since the weld seperated in the outer casing of the muffler or rasp everyone talks about. I can really tell there is less back pressure though, kinda feels like low end tq is less, but upper rpms feel stronger. These tranny shops around Tacoma suck, anyone know of one that will install a tranny cooler? Went to 3 of them and they said there wasn't anyplace to install one. I know thats a crock of sh$t because everyone on here puts them in front of the radiator and when I told them they all said..we would have to order a longer one and asked for my #..no calls so guess they don't want my $. Finally put in a Lakewood safety loop too. What a pain in the A$$. Had to undo the tq arm. Was supposed to install without removing anything...even had it on a lift and tried every angle and wouldn't go in until I moved the tq arm.
If anyone that reads this has a aluminum driveshaft...I am in need of 1 and would rather buy local than go to a wrecking yard or ebay. I have the steel one that came with the 2:73's...gives me a slight vibration with the 3:42's on highway and finally tired of it.

Meee Tooo. If the weather is good I will be there if not I am staying home. I had the same problem with that DSL. Had to take the driveshaft off to get it installed and now it is riding right on my Y-Pipe.

I won't be there either way. Waiting on my new water pump to get here. Hopefully my car will back up & running by the dbl pts race on the 16th....
Tranny coolers are easy to install. Buy a B&M 24k cooler & do it yourself. Takes a couple of hours, but they give you everything you need. I hung mine in front of the AC cooler on the pass side. You will need to pop the radiator loose so you can get the plastic mounting thingies thru the fins, but it's not difficult to do. I think there are good instructions on HowtoLS1.com.

I think you can see where I cut the loop's crossmember, so next time we're all together (when I have my car and such) you can take a look at it... if you haven't taken care of it by then, of course.

Wednesday - sunny with a chance of showers.
The usual catch all for "We are having a crappy summer. Take your chances." My guess is it will be cloudy but dry, cooler track.
