If it's just one tire, then you have a problem.

Yes if you plan on keeping the car please do not ask how to beef up the 10 bolt.
you can't it is like shinning ****.

The board is full of great guys and tons of good info. Read through the chaff and learn what you can.

Welcome to the LS1 world and good luck hope we can help

You also may want to check the simple things like make sure all the lug nuts are tight and that your new exhaust system is mounted in tight.

I think you would probably hear some whining if it was your rear. If your really concerned you could pull the rear differential cover and check for signs of wear and a lot of metal shavings, of course expect to find some on the magnetic.

how many miles on your car??
it never hurts to change rear-end fluid.

this vibration noise your describing more like very violent rear-end convulscion?
you might be getting wheel hop now the the added power, and if you have crappy tires that will do it too.

Some good replacement rearends are the strange and moser rearends. They are not cheap though, around $2500. I am not sure how much a stock replacement would be, but they are not too reliable.
