How much "more" would you pay for XM/Sirius Satellite Radio?????
Pretty much, what the topic states. If sirius or XM goes up in cost, how far are you willing go, to continue their service??? This is just a question and in no way reflexs on the notion that prices will go up.
$14.95
$19.95
$29.95
$14.95
$19.95
$29.95

They better not!!! $12.95 is right @ the limit for me. If they start going up, Then I would have to consider canceling and just deal with FM/AM.
The reason I have it, is because where I live (Northern California), the FM band is turnig Into Spanish stations quicker then I can eat a Baskin Robbins Ice cream Cone.
I have my Theory as to why FM is forcing people to jump on Satellite Radio.

theres no use in them raising it again. its not like they arent making a killing. they have millions of subscribers a month. just look at it like this. 1 million sub. pay 12.95 a month. = 12950000 times 12= 155400000 a year. sounds to me like they are greedy.

Guys... Try to stay on topic.
Im sure that sounds like a lot of money but you have to remember, satellites aren’t cheap.
I personally cant see paying 12.95 a month for a 100 channels when all that I listen to is 2-3. I guess thats why I use cds.

Would be awesome if WiFi hotspots were city- or nationwide, then we could just stream any of the numerous free web radio stations. I have XM and I like it because of minimal to no commercials, but I only listen to a handful of stations.

I love my sirius.... and i have no problem paying the 12.95 a month for it... the reason why is beacuse I don't have to carry many, if any CD's with me. It is kinda like having a personal DJ, you don't really choose all the songs that are on a channel, but you get to listen to the type of songs that you want to... If you normally listen to rock, but you suddenly want to listen to something off the wall, or stand up comedy, you can without searching through CD's or carrying some rediculous amount of CD's with you at all times... plus CD's can get scratched easily, stolen, or lost.
I would probably pay up to 19.95... but no more. I think that the cost now is perfect though... (the cost of one CD a month with almost unlimited choice)
