Default fuel pump install

I have a 255lph Walbro fuel pump. I went to install it the other day, and realized if I wanted to drop my fuel tank I would have to cut my back off of my exhaust. I have heard people do it my cutting above the tank. Can someone PLEASE walk me through the install or give me a site that has detailed instructions to the install. Is it possible to do the install without dropping the tank at all? Is if ok to do? Any cons?

Thanks,
Justin

I did mine without dropping the tank. Many say this way isnt as good because you can't clean out the tank.

Do a search. It's called the "trap door" method. I found some pics on here that I used to cut my sheet metal. The install only took a couple hours.

I've decided on doing the trap door method. I need some 5/16" high pressure fuel injection rubber hose, fuel injection hose clamps, and a small stainless steel clamp to hold the pump inside the rubber boot. Where can I get these items?
