White smoke out of the tail pipes? commen causes blown headgasket or worse. There are kits available ot check for CO in the colling system, there shouldn't be any. Or get a shop with a 5 gas analyser to stick the prob over the radiator filler neck to check for CO also.

Pull the head. Check to see if you have antifreeze in the oil or vice versa.

Drain the oil. If it's milky looking then your head gasket is hurt and is letting oil and water mix. Hopefully that would be the only problem. But accept the fact that there is a problem and at the very least it means changing head gaskets. Plan on turning some wrenches.

Hopefully you have another car you are driving now. If you are getting coolant in the oil it won't lubricate near as good as it should and can be very bad on the engine.

I thought the 2 ways I mentioned were fairly simple The only problem with just checking the oil for coolant contamination is coolant can be getting burned off in a cylinder(thus the white smoke) but it may not be getting in the oil. But if coolant is getting into a cylinder then combustion WILL be also present in the coolant, thats why its always best to check for carbon monoxide in the cooling system

I know the tool trucks have them..Snap on/Mac etc. but I think you could find them a AZ/Pep Boys... thew screw on the radiator like a pressure tester and have a pump at the top, you pump the tester and if turns a different color usually blue in most cases it hac CO in it,not a good sign....
