Default pegged out my N2O pressure gauge

I sprayed a 150 TNT shot with an estimated 1,750PSI bottle pressure

Just kidding about the spraying part .
I picked up my 15# bottle this morning after filling it for the first time. It had been sitting in the floor board while I was at work & after comming out at 4:30 i discovered what you see in the above picture. Actualy the needle was covering the "N" of NOS just touching the other screw. that picture was taken after filling a bucket with cold water and dunking the bottle in it to try and drop the PSI quickly. it just makes me wonder at what PSI will the bust disk release pressure. this bottle had to of been pushing between 1,700-1,800 PSI

Damn stuart, give some of the extra pressure to me! When are you gonna spray it?

my friend tests highpressure cylinders like that one and much bigger...you don;t have to worry, the bottles rated for 1600 psi will hold over 3000 psi

it's all about safety undamged cylinders will hold WAYYY over what they are rated at.

I knew the bottle would hold like 3,000+psi, I was more worried about the burst disk rupturing letting $60 (yeah i get fucked paying $4 a #) of N2O out into the cab of my car before i ever got to spray any of it. when will the burst disk blow out?

NX blowoff valves are 3000psi, I think.

Consider yourself lucky. I blew the backs out of two liquid filled NOS bottle gauges within 2 weeks, and mine only hit around 1250psi.

Get dark window tint, put your t-top visior shades on, and get a bottle blanket.
