Default Stock grille possibly screwed up

Here in IL, license plates are typically located on both the front and the rear of vehicles. The previous owner of my car decided to put a license plate bracket flush onto the grille, thus covering the Camaro lettering. I don't understand why anyone would do such a thing. I believe it is just on there with some sort of adhesive... any ideas on what I would be able to take it off with?

On the stock grille? If so it is held on with i think 4 rivets, you can either drill them out or pull back on the plate and snip the rivets with some wire cutters or something like wire cutters. I think they come stock like that when sold in certain states.

Dont worry about the stock grille. Yank that thing off, its an ugly plastic cladding piece of crap anyway, get a SLP or Stull billet grille.

The previous owner didn't do that... if it's delivered to IL from the factory there's a bracket put on there.
