on my 98 T/A the front parking lamp/turn signal assembly, all of the reflective chrome covering, or paint on the inside, to help brighten up the light has faded off, i dont want to buy the new assembly cause i need both sides and gm says they are $45 a piece and that just seems kind of steep to me, is there any way to get the front lens off to repaint that, or any way to repaint that? any ideas would help thanks.

If I remember right, the lens is kinda glued to the housing with a gasket in between. I've had mine apart before, and put it back together just fine.
Also, you can get those on ebay for alot less. Like around $17.
