Default once in closed loop, airflow at idle goes up?

i was logging and noticed the demanded airflow goes up once the stfts start to kick in and the iac counts go up as well. why is this and what table effects this?

Can you show me a log? And some info on your tune? You can post or e-mail to someoneelse@adelphia.net.

ill send you my log and tune, im still in the process of working on it though. also look at the start up on how the cars rpms are so low for a little bit and then steady out. i cant figure that out either

It sounds like your running airflow table is wrong. Could also be some fueling issues. Have you logged your O2 sensors, and your airflow, and idle desired airflow and possibly IAC counts? And of course your LT and ST FTs.

yeah man did all that, my idle air trims are perfect now, the table is set where i feel is right on. the desired and idle overlap perfect. the raf continues to drop off which is why i dont get it. maybe because the o2s arent hot yet they fuel wrong and throw airflow off until it can settle??

What are your mods? Particularly, cam specs, whether or not you have longtubes, ported throttle body, lid, and/or ported MAF. Your O2s are pretty slow, and your MAF table is probably wrong.

long tubes, jantzer tb, pretty much all the bolt ons, no maf, o2s arent slow from waht i have been told they seem to jump back and forth very nice for idle, at least from what i have seen. they are not too old either.

well its been about a year since i have replaced the o2s so maybe its a good thing to do anyway, you wouldnt happen to know the pn for the vette rears would you?

the cam is the f13, 230/232 .598/.587 112+4

Well that would explain why your idle kpa sucks. I figured your cam was pretty decent sized. Your O2s are definitely a little slow, but not too bad for long tubes. It is hard to tell because you didn't really do any driving in those logs. I don't know the rear Corvette O2 part number, but I know they are posted on here somewhere. I will look at your logs a little more.

part throttle they are ok, ive never really compaired to other logs so i thought they switched ok, i think im gonna go with the densos, horist said they helped out a good bit, then this way i can get rid of the extentions. i dont think the o2s are bad but maybe its time to just step up the heaters with the headers. thanks for checking them out, if you see anything else screwy let me know. the car actually runs pretty good, ive done a lot of idle tuning with it and the only problems i have come across is the cold start which i think could be fueling related after the stuff i just tried. either that or since the iac is maxed out when cold, with the tb being epoxy filled, could be part of the troubles with the recovery. its just weird because a 40* c start has no problems, but then again the airflow demand drops off by then, thanks
