I am curious if it will be ok if i torqued the rocker arm bolt to 25ftlbs instead of 22 lbs? I read to tq it down to 22ftlbs from ls1howto. Also is there a toque sequence? Thanks

LOL! True. Scarey, but true. With all the post I've seen lately on "How to fix my stripped threads?", I believe it. It's more important now than ever before with these all aluminum engines to use a good torque wrench. LS1fire, you do realize that torquing to 25 ft. lbs will not benefit your setup in any way. Curious as to why you want to go over 22 ft. lbs? Not saying don't do it, just wondering.

yea i was very worried... i used my dads old crastman tq wrench.. not bad shape.. still appared to be fine but it was like 20 years old lmao.. 10-150lbs well i got it to 22, and then when id check it it would be different or off.. i was using a extension tho.. small 1 inch one.. maybe that hurt it.. so i just put htem at 23-25 made sure none of htem were way loose, and just recently pulled the vavlecovers and made sure none of htem had backed out or like started coming apart or some ****.. they were fine, so i guessed right i hope
