Default cam swap

durring a cam swap could the lifters be held up by taking the intake manifold off ...... if soo ill just put on a ls6 intake when i switch out the cam .... that way sounds easier to me if its possible and ill be getting all the work done at the same time ... thanks

No...you have to pull the heads to get to the lifters. There are other ways to hold the lifters up so you don't have to pull the heads. Go to LS1howto.com and the install shows you how to use dowel rods to hold up the lifters...worked perfectly for me and no need to pull the intake.
