Well myself and 2 other friends took the T/A out to Woodward to see whats going on. As we thought lots of people out. I got 1 race in out there.... LSX Vette Cam'd maybe more.A guy with his women. We catch a light i hear him stage so i know its on. Light goes both roll and go WOT i get a small jump then the 50 shot kicks and its over from there, by 30 my car is just getting traction with the drag radials. Shut down at 50ish with a couple cars on him. He automatically changes lanes . I am able to get next to him about a mile down as i come up next to him i give him a nice purge shot as both him and his women look over.


2nd race is a SRT4 with a stage 2 kit. As i am leaving Rams Horn the kid has a "I EAT V8" plate says something and wants to go. Him and his 2 buddies get in the car as i wait for them. Well roll out onto M-59 25ish i look over he says go so i say bye. Like i didnt know what was going to happen. I shut down at 60 after i put a few cars on him showing no signs of stopping.Then his friend says you got a jump go on my count. 30ish he counts same thing... all in all it was a good night.
edit: i guess the SRT4 had a 75 shot also

Your lucky that 50 shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on your intake! Did the Vette have a heavy cam?

Mods: Custom mild cam 219/ 238 .560 112, Hooker Lts ORY cat back, MTI lid, Dyno Tune, 50 wet shot,SBFCs,MAC rear cover,Yank 3500 Drag radials(if they count) all this with Nasty 2.73s and LS1 intake.


Yes actually the Vette was louder then my car. Very nice looking Black Vette.

Theres another SRT 4 out there, I ran him on 59.... Look out, my car runs low to mid 11's, and I barely pulled him. The plate says NOS SRT. Its black, looks good, runs damn good. I live 15 minutes north of M59 on M53, and my mom lives on woodward, at squarelake road. Where do you live at? Where are you when I'm on the road, nobody ever plays with me!!!!!

The SRT i ran is blue plate" IEAT V8" I live in Waterford. I have a hard time getting people to play out here. Theres a couple of us LS1s here but we know eachother. Thats why i am going to woodward its always atleast 1 race out there.

If ya go a little farther to M59, right about M53, theres always a race there. Go up to 40 mile and M53 and thats like the land of camaros, my lt1 and about 7 or 8 buddies with LS1's. Lots of straight as an arrow roads with corn on either side, perfect for a good drag!!!

Damn nice runs to all of 50 and 60ish! Thats what 2 secs to get from 25 to 60? Those are not races, go from a dig or a roll at least to 100, over 150 is when it starts getting fun!

im not to far from all this action either. im in clinton twp about 2 1/2 miles south of m-59.

and the reason they didnt go over 65 is because woodward ave. goes through the middle of the upscale suburbs.

their is usually a good amount of action on m-59 between van dyke and I-94 thats about seven miles or more one way then you loop back around.

So... from 30mph to 50ish mph you pulled 2 carlenghths According to my calculations you've got 9 sec. car there (unless the vette stalled out). Good kill, I'm just having a hard time with the distance (car lengths)
