Help With Rear Main Oil Seal Leak Am installing new Spec 3 Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel. While dis-assembly, I noticed a very small amount of engine oil on the bottom of the Bell Housing and back of engine (lower). I believe its coming from the rear seal, although can't say for sure. Am planning to replace seal, but today I noticed in the Crankshaft Threads at the very end of threads there was oil in them and around the hub your flywhhel sits on, aAnyone know if this oil should be there or how it got there. Also if you think it is the seal leaking?
