Default Engine running hotter than normal

I have a complete bolt on LS1, and i was running the stock catback off an ORY with a cutout. Even since selling my catback and running right off the ORY, my engine temp is higher when driving. The temp was usually about 3/4 of the way to the midline between 160 and 210. It now sits usually right under the midline, and when on the highway usually goes over it by a millimeter or two? I didnt think having it dumped 2 feet shorter than normal would have caused this, but i dont know. There are no changes in performance, just where the needle is sitting. It also fluctuates alot, changing temp every few minutes, usually when i get on it. But the weird thing is even in 6th gear at 1800 rpms on the highway it still runs hotter than when on city streets. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Could it be coincidental that you picked up something that's blocking the radiator? Possible sensor/gauge problem?

I just changed my oil few weeks back, using royal purple. One guy on another forum mentioned i may have used too much oil when cleaning my filter, and that it might be messing with my MAF. he said use some electrical cleaner and clear it up....

Your car is not fast enough to get the proper airflow through the radiator.
