Default It just looks so good - SDPC 408

Ok. This is a SDPC 408 iron block with TEA stage 3 6.0L heads. It will run an LS6 PCV setup, and crank breather to help eliminate the LS1 oil consumption problem we all know about. The cam is a 248/254 615/613 113lsa. The engine is setup for 11.2:1 CR. Rotating assembly is Callies crank, Callies Compstar rods, and Diamond pistons. I will run Kooks 1-7/8 LT's, 3" ORY pipe with dual cutouts so I can run open headers, ASP pulley, FAST 78mm intake (I know it's the restriction), BBK 80mm throttle body with ported spacer, lid, yadda yadda yadda. Hoping for some good #'s. I just like looking at it. Kris Jones over at SDPC and Brent Bird at TEA are awesome- I highly recommend them. Enjoy the pics guys!

Installed LS6 valley cover for PCV conversion

ARP head studs installed

I can't wait to see how it turns out. What drivetrain is in the car? Any plans for nitrous? What fuel setup (injectors and pump) are you running?

Looks NICE!!! Just to let you know, you will have to use a different valley cover bolt with that LSX intake, unless the LS6 valley cover is thinner than the stock valley cover, the LSX intake will crack and not sit correctly with the those bolts, you need flush mounting bolts. Just a FYI before you get too far

Guys,

This engine is going in my 99 Z28. It was my daily driver, but I just bought an 05 Cobalt, so now the Z will be a cruiser.

Gomer - I have already installed a Racetronix fuel pump kit, and I am going to be using 42lb Ford injectors. The car was an A4, but I switched it to a T-56 last year, and the rear is stock with 3.73 gears. When I destroy the factory rear, I'll be giving Billingsley Racing a call. . Kris Jones had the engine ringed for a hefty shot of nitrous, but I don't know if it will ever see spray - time will tell.

Orange peel - I know all about the LSX info you stated. The bolts in the pics are not GM bolts. I went to the Home Depot and bought some with a smaller head on them for clearance. If they are still too tall, I have a grinder waiting for them.

The more I come on this board the less I like it..all these people bragging and rubbing it in on what they have..not to mention any names *cough* dragonz28 *cough* ...i would love to see this in my car but im poor

anyways..looks like an amazing setup so i would also like some feedback on the finished result. Numbers and times would be great!
