I have the borla cat back on my car and was wondering if the qtp 3" electric cut out would fit and take the place of the adjustable plates? I called qtp and they said it would so I was gonna call thunder racing and place a order but they told me that it wouldn't fit? They told me that I would have to get it welded in! Will it work without welding? Thanks!

From what I understand, QTP makes a specific electric cutout for the specifically for the borla setup. Maybe Thunder doesn't carry it.

by adding that cutout, you would extend the length of the passenger side exhaust tip. thats where the plate is located, correct?
