Default gear drive

has any body ever heard of putting a gear drive instead of a timing chain in a ls1 and where if you can get them thank you

I don't think they make a gear drive for the LS1, if they do I've never seen it.

I doubt you'll see one. Gear drives wreak havoc with knock sensors.

what he said. jesel makes a belt drive however.

If you getting it just for the sound, I promise you it wont justify the cost.
