Default Input on 408 Iron Block(HPE)

Lookin into this block, I know they currently have the fastest LT1 fbody, wondering if anyone has had good results with this or what not, also considering doing a cam on my stock bottom end, t-rex is comin to mind(m6 and i've been lookin into cams for a long time), but my question is, how big will this be for the 408 and also if i put it in the 346 then got a 408 can you do larger ratio rockers(1.8, havent looked into this), or would it even be worth it since the t-rex already has .608/.612 lift? Also since this would be a bigger cubes motor what would kinda be the equivilent for drivability for a 408(vs t-rex'd 346), and any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Man, give us a call at the shop and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. You can also check out the sponsor feedback section where I think a few have posted about their results with our motors..

IMO, if you're going to go the 408 way (i wish i could) you should get a custom ground cam. getting a great engine and then throwing a random cam in there isnt a great idea... it might work, but you would be leaving alot on the table.

We have a good stroker cam we use a lot called the Big E cam. it's 244/248 on a 115 with .612/.615 lift. With the right set of heads and bolt ons, this setup would be worth well over 500 rwhp in your car. I've even got heads that would push you close to 600 rwhp. It all depends on how much you wanna spend. Let me know if you have any further questions..
