quick question help
hey guys if i install 3.73 gears in my 98 ss will i need to upgrade my t-converter?
or can i still use the stock one?if not was the best longest lasting t-convter outthere and wat will be a good stall for a daily driver?

You can do whatever you want to the gears and not mess with the converter. I would recommend a converter LONG before gears though.
As for the other question, SEARCH. 99% or more of daily driver/street cars run between 3000-4000 rpm stall speeds. 3500 is a good place to start. If you plan a cam in the future you must match them accordingly. TCI, PI (vig) and Yank are all recommended. Search should get you info on specific converters.
Consider Yank SS3600, Vig3200 (stalls higher), and TCI SSF3500 as the most obvious choices from each company (though you gave no info so it's really hard to recommend).

cool.also one quick ?wats that deal with like the predator programmer that says u can program shift points and remove something or disable it.wat are they talking about?
