Default Hood pins--yes or no?

I have a Glasstek 4" cowl and I know lots of guys do not run hood pins on those hoods, myself included, and even though Glasstek says to I've had 2 of their hoods and never a problem. But none of my other cars are as fast as this one, so I'm worried about it flying up on me. Is anyone running 130+ in the 1/4 with a cowl hood and no pins? Should I pin it anyway?

stock hood latch is fine. I've seen cars run bottom 9s with a stock latch. Pins are typically used for lightweight hoods that do not have a latch.

uhhh, these LS1 f-bodies will do 162 mph off the showroom floor without any modifications. The stock hood latch is fine for 130. Its probably fine for 200 mph or more.
