Cool Update MAF kit SPY Photo.

Ok not really a spy photo since I am the one that built this thing. Sorry for the delay on this guys but to some time to get this worked out. This picture is of the Last Artical sign off piece. I will be doing a final fit on a 2001 Corvette this week, ( as long as the car shows up). Capable hp as in picture 200 can be upgrade to 200+ but you loose the solenoids attachment points.
This will be the cleanest install ever your will only have 2 hoses to deal with and noids are already mounted.
I need yalls feed back on this so I judge the time line and production counts on the unit.
One draw back to this sytle of MAF you have to cut the plastic discharge side off the maf sensor.... We did it with a simple hack saw a little time and cleaned it on a belt sander, took all of 10 minutes.

Looks nice, should make for an extremely clean install. Now, how do we jet it ?
Is this a redundant dry kit or wet kit - 2 solenoids?

Wet kit, not sure about the dry stuff, its after the maf sensor wires. The jetting is done before the noids.
The inlet fittings will hold the jets, so you will only have 2 hoses to deal with 1 fuel 1 nitrous. The fuel is the one on the left like if it was mounted in the car on a Corvette. There is less than 4 inches from noid to the exit port.

Very interesting! From the way it's mounted on the MAF, I thought it may be a Dry kit.

Ricky,

I have a couple of quick questions for you. I'm one step away from buying one of your current MAF systems for my 2000 Corvette. One, how long do you think it will be before this new setup will be available for sale and two, if I don't wait and go ahead and buy your current MAF system, will I later be able to buy just what's shown in the photo above as an "upgrade" for it?

Thanks!

Looks great, also looks like there's alot of machine work involved so it must be expensive.

Is this the reason my Camaro NX MAF Plate conversion kit is still on backorder? LOL

Very nice job though, you will sell lots of them.

The Current maf will not work on a Corvette or a one piece design.. I just asked the machine shop that will be building this unit. Aug 5th is the date he tells me. So lets say the 10th.

Kit will be around the current maf and maybe a bit less.

Ricky,

My 2000 'Vette has the old-style, two-piece MAF with the electronics sandwiched between the MAF ends. They didn't change to a one-piece till later. Will the current setup still not work? Will the new one work if it's designed for a one-piece MAF setup? Please let me know and thanks!

The 2 piece design will work with older style plate.

I don't like it. I'd never run anything like that even if it was given to me.
