Default Will Mufflex Off-road Y-pipe work with Kooks?

1 3/4" Kooks headers with 3" collectors. Will the Mufflex ORY fit? Any problems or issues? I need to buy one and I like the Flowmaster y-collector that Mufflex uses better than the Kooks-style collector. Any thoughts?

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I searched through 250 threads and found no solid answer.

what model number, if they only make one. i know they make one for the hooker/jethot pace design thats direct bolt on. QTP makes an ORY with flowmaster collector and im pretty sure QTP and Kooks use the same design.

I've heard that the Kooks collectors are 1" shorter than the QTPs. Like you said, the Mufflex Y-Pipe works on Hooker/Jet Hot style headers and Grotyohahn style headers. I know that QTP and Kooks are G-Hahn type of headers, but I thought that there were some dimensional differences in the collector length that would make swapping difficult.

I asked QTP the same question about there ORY fitting Kooks. They say it will not fit, there is a fifference in length and angle of there headers. I wish i knew somebody that had one I can try on my Kooks headers just to see for myself.

Hooker or Jethots will sound the best (least raspy) but no stainless.

This is true about the collectors, I confirmed this with the head tech at Kook's because I have old style QTP's (mild steel) with a Mufflex ORY and was looking into using Kook's headers with my Y and he said I can make the Mufflex Y work with the Kook's if I added some piping up front where it slides on the headers
