Default removing intake have questions???

i just got done taking out my ls1 intake to paint and reinstall it, i just have a question about the oil pressure unit in the back that everyone told me to be careful not to break, is it the round cylinder object that is a couple inches tall behind the intake, how do you know if you broke it, is there anyway of telling before you reinstall everything or do you just have to reinstall everything and start it up and see,
I appreciate any help
thanks

If its a couple of inches tall that means its intact. You're ok.

yeah you would know if you broke it. as long as it is still standing tall dont worry. I have broke one in my first ls6 swap. kinda sucked but you know when it is broken.

Also make sure the plug in connector on the top of the sensor is still intact and didn't get ripped off.

Yup - if it's not laying in your engine bay somewhere, it's OK. Broke mine too. Why don't they put this on the directions???
