Raced a sickly fast Turbo'd camaro.. He's a member of this board and we had a little feud going on one of our local CT boards. We raced lastnight and all i will say is that his car is retarded...700+ is not easy to lay down during a strictly drag radial race...i will have a video of our race sometime tonight up once my buddy gets it hosted. Before anyone goes saying the Camaro whooped me wait til you see the video you might be surprised..i won't name who it is unless he comes forward on his own. I give his car ALOT of respect..it will go 9's if he can get the power to the ground.

3rd race i hook camaro spins a bit we pull it to 145mph and he shuts down at my door.

But what's this about "Wait until you see the video you might be suprised".
Uhhh, if the guy really is making 700+rwhp and you're making 500, that's a no-brainer. For you to be anywhere near him something would have had to be wrong.

I've taken cars that should've, would've, could've beaten me many times. Street or track, it don't matter if ya screw up or can't hook. If I race a 2600# 400 RWHP car and I tipped the scales @ 3800#'s and 485 RWHP and everything went textbook, I should get my *** reamed right? However, I did this four times with two different cars and three different drivers and won ALL of them simply because I can drive and I put ALL of my power to the ground. Bench racing is BULLSHIT! Line 'em up and go, first one to the big end gets to brag.

It seemed to me based on that vid that the camaro would run away from the cobra on any surface condition. Both are nice cars. sweet vid and race

Normally I hate to watch night vids because you can't see **** but this was cool.
That Camaro is bad *** and the first 2 runs were totals kills but that last was pretty close (yes I know there wercircumstances but you run what ya brung, right).
Nice video and I wish I could have heard the Camaro better but that whine/whistle from the Mustang is so damn loud.
