Seats yes sorry this is old, need advice please Hey guys, i have a 79 z28 and my seats are crap. The sliders are garbage and the covers are too, seatbelt holder is cracked off, etc. An upholstery shop says they can renew them for $150 each, but I was considering replacing them entirely. Ebay has some decent aftermarket seats (note a few, most are too rice-ish). I'm curious if anyone has had any luck with these? Maybe as far as bolting stock sliders to aftermarket seats, but is the width and/or bolt holes typically different? I would assume so. Let me know if anyone has any experience with this, I really need advice! Thanks!

Usually when going with aftermarket seats you have to take your current slides and modify them to work, they sometimes provide sliders of their own but they arent as great... My friend went and bought a set of sliders from the junk yard to modify them and keep his originals...
