Are 10 bolt 3 channel and 4 channel axles the same?

Are 10 bolt 3 channel and 4 channel axles the same? A friend of mine messed up his rear and he bent an axle and I have a spare, but its from a 4 channel/ TCS, ASR rear. Will it fit his 3 channel non traction control car?

no nothing else need's to be swapped. you can use teh axels without taking off the reluctor ring's if you like also. I currently have a four channel 10bolt in my car with the 3 series axel's. backing blates and everytihing else work
