I think I'll get them professionally done, I don't need extra headaches.

I just installed mine yesterday. There's no way I would pay to have someone put them in. It wasn't bad at all.

It depends on how the install is, if it is really easy and I get a set that seals up well, I'll do it myself. But if it becomes a pain, I don't need that headache now especially with this high heat and humidity.

The only problem I really had was trying to get the lights back in. I went ahead and just spliced the halos into the foglights. Although I did have to sorta jerry rig the mounting bracket because mine didn't fit too well.

I was thinking of putting the chrome halos on my red ss. I thought with chrome wheels and chrome grille it would look good. Also does anyone have pics of the chrome halos and where is the cheapest place to buy them besides ebay.

I screwed with the first one for about 20 minutes trying to get it in. Then i realized they pop right in using the stock brackets. Would have helped to know that in the begining.

the lights just pop out. best I remember take the top screw out, then slide the whole assembly toward the center of the car and it pops right out. reverse for the install. Takes like 2 minutes tops to take out both headlights and pop in the new ones. Adjusting the new ones takes alittle time though and trying to get them to shine straight and not have a big gap around the bottom can be alittle frustrating, but I did'nt have any problems with mine.
