Textralia Ordered
Just ordered Textralia clutch. It is going in my 500hp 408ci SS. I really hope it will hold. With all the recent bad news on the Spec 3 I figured this was my only other option as far as keeping it daily drivable...
I will definately be putting it to the test. I was told it will hold spray too (150), which I probably won't do for a while but eventually I will give it a try...the motor is fully forged anyway
I figured I would make this thread since I wasn't able to find many people with big horsepower running this clutch, even though it is rated pretty high and is supposed to feel near stock.
Anyone else running this clutch with over 450rwhp chime in...

I think it is supposed to hold upwards of 750rwhp. I also heard that some people are putting around 900rwhp through it with no problems. Mine should be at my house tomarrow. And hopefully I can install in this weekend. I plan to run about 500rwhp through it for a few months until I forge the motor. I feel this clutch will be able to handle anything I throw at it.

Amazing for a clutch with such low clamping (I assume the pressure plate has less clamping force than most high hp aftermarket clutches since people say this clutch feels near stock). Can't wait to get it..

Mine was supposed to be here today or monday. i have read posts on it holding up to 1000hp. Talked to Textralia on phone and am doing a 200shot on an LS6 and they said no problemo. It is dual stg also. No bad reports yet, and many guys on corvettefroum are running this clutch.

Well I had these problems during install, but I dont think they have anything to do with the Textralia, they were Hydrolic issues: https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-transmission/356379-anyone-having-soft-pedal-textralia.html
Once I got that worked out, everything is great.
The clutch is nice nice nice! It chatters a little on low rpm takeoff, but that could be bc of break in or just the nature of it, but either way it is not a big deal. The Ram clutch I had in before chattered wayyy worse. And the pedal on the Ram was shitty for street use...just really overly firm. The Textralia is like stock...
Then while in gear and through shifts, the clutch is smoooooth!!!!
I have put about 100 easy miles on it and just today I got on it a little bit just through 2-3, shifting well below red line, about 5k rpm and MAN THE FAWKER BITES HARD! The nice thing is, during cruise, it feels soft and then when you get on it, it just feels like it locks solid, no slippage whatsoever, very firm! And remember this is through a motor with some decent torque well over stock.
The true test will be when I take it to the track next week hopefully and do some 4k clutch dumps...hope my 12bolt can take it
Not like 4k is a lot, but I have a posi so

I've got 300 miles on mine and it does hold well. The pedal is slightly lighter than the stocker, and the clutch engagement is at the top of the pedal (good). The chatter hasn't really gone away yet. Still hoping it does. But I find that I am getting better at launching so it is less noticeable. It's just a slight chatter when getting going, and something I was expecting from any hi-po clutch.

Got mine in, and it's being installed. talked to Jeff at Textraila about break in. He said about 200 miles of stop and go traffic and I can take it to track and start with some mild/medium launches. he said no n2o yet, though. I will wait till next drag trip for hard launches with nitrous.
