Check with some sponsors for your spacific set up, but this will get you started.
Rods: lunati, callies, crower
Pistons: JE, Dimond, Mahle
This is just off the top of my head most sponsors carry these and will get you set up with rings, rist pins, and bearings ect ect.

"Best" brands will get you opinions ...

Might be easier to narrow things down by asking how much do you want to spend and what are your goals? If there's a budget involved it will likely change your manufacture preferences. If it's a forged bottom end that's going to see 600hp there is no need for billet internals.

We use Eagle stuff (unless customer wants good stuff) on engines up to 750 hp. Above that, and it's either billet steel , or aluminum rods. Whatever piston manufacturer gives you the best deal and customer service is the one I would choose.

We have the new Scat rods on special for $419.99!! They are rated to 900hp

I would go either Diamond or Mahle pistons depending mainly on what dish you need to get the compression
