open headers?
tomorrow im installing a set of pacesetter long tubes. I may have to run these to work for a few days until i can get my guy to weld up my duals. can I hurt my car in anyway? I heard that cool air sucks into your exhaust when you let off the pedal, and can damage your valves n stuff. If you guys could clarify this for me it would help alot, thanks.

You should be fine, just be sure to install the front o2 sensors. People have gone 50+ miles with open headers and not had any problems. I did not get to drive my car around with open headers, I just let it idle and did not have problems either.

I'd put somne 12-18" extentions on them at the least.
Cheap and you will lessen the chance of burning an o2 up.
You can drive without them, but I'd highly recommend an extension..

You may not hurt your car, but you will hurt your ears!! Man, I fired mine up with open headers when I did my install and wow, I've never heard such a loud car. But it did sound great!
