How to figure Injectors vs Dry Shots?
Ok, so in considering going a dry side, I need to find out about sizing of injectors. I have a set of Viper GTS Injectors, Bosch 34# at 3 bar, flowing 38# on LS1. I will be installing these soon, since the 28.8#'s I am currently using are over 100% well before my shifts! I am thinking these new injectors might only be safe for 100shot, but I wanted to run 200, so might stay with wet side or mix wet and dry.
Thanks.
Charlie
Thanks.

IMHO, it's pretty silly to try to save money on injectors. I paid $200 for my 8 brand new 36# SVO's (which are rated ~42#-44# in an LS1).
I know, that doesn't help you.. I'll just leave.

I totally agree, and hopefully this might help......I got the injectors from a friend that a set laying around from one of his few Vipers. Picked up the inj and a set of C5 wheels for $100. I sold the wheels in about 2hrs of posting them and basically got the inj for free! Now, I hadnt planned on running a dry setup, but am wondering how much I could use with these injectors since I have them. NA I need these, since the Stock 02 Inj are max'd out.

Ok, so I figure 475rwhp (hopefully that formula is for rwhp?) is all the 34# inj will cover ( I am thinking that formula also keeps the IDC at 80% ?). If thats the case, then no use in going to a 75 dry and 150 wet....might as well go all wet for now. I am projecting my rwhp to be about 400 (so I rounded up for safety) from my times...so close to yours to Robert.

37.1lb min for 475rwhp at 80% duty cycle. You can go over the rec 80% imo. This a guide more for wear/tear and an occasional strip run isn't going to make them fail any sooner, if you go even static. Yea, your times are close and your car is prob heavier, so they may be closer than we think.
