Default Ls1 Fans: CAn they be mounted to push air into the radiator??

I was just wondering if I could switch the wiring of the ls1 fans and mount them on the outside of the radiator "pushing" the air into it???

Are the motors designed to be reversed? Will it hurt their performance compared to being mounted inside/pulling air?

If you reversed the motor, wouldn't you have to reverse the fan's blade pitch?

Whats the reason for doing this? From what I understand, electric radiator fans are most effecient when they're pulling and shrouded.
