Fueling & Injection - Just finished H/C swap...have a couple injector questions!

First off a little summary of the changes I've made to my car. I have pretty much all the bolt-ons...pulley, Hooker LTs/ ORY, LS6 intake/ported TB, FTRA etc. In addition to the bolt-ons I had MMS ported '98 style heads and a MMS 229/229 578/578-112 cam. With tuning on the stock injectors I made 384/367 on a mustang dyno and have trapped as high as 118 in the 1/4.

I've swapped to 5.3 stg2 "race ported" heads w 2.05/1.60 67cc chambers and a 232/236 595/601-112 cam. I also bought racetronix 37# ijectors and the racetronix pnp fuel pump kit that haven't been installed yet. It's going in next week for tuning and the questions I have are: Will I be able to drive it to the tuner (15 miles) with the new injectors and pump without totally fouling out my plugs...will I even be able to keep it running? Or should I just do the pump install, leave the stock injectors in for the drive to the tuners and swap out the injectors in the parking lot before my tuning appointment? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get there early and swap the injectors.

Your gonna be very, very rich with those injectors and no tuning. The Racetronix #37 flow 43lbs/hr at the fuel rail pressure our cars use. The stock ones flow 26lbs/hr or 28lbs/hr depending on year.

It'll be washing those cylinders down all the way to the shop. Not to mention your foul the plugs and maybe even foul the catalytic converters if you still have 'em.

Change them out once you're there...
