Drag Racing Tech - who has removed the bumper supports?

who has removed the front and rear suports, or cushioning under the bumpers(not sure what it is called) from there cars, i heard it was worth about 70 pounds.

i took out the front. it had some weight to it but not sure how much....

was it easy or a pain, and dose the car run a little cooler with more air hitting the radiator

its easy, not sure about the temp.

I have on 3 cars so far, 22-25 a piece is a guess, it might be closer to 30#s each.
Well worth it to me!!

I have, its not wirth your time unless it's just gonna be on the track. If i remember right i think it was around 45lbs.

why is that?

they are sort of a safety feature....

so what about the front end sagging, has anyone ever rigged some type of brace.

the front will sag but i have seen some pretty creative rigs to eliminate that.
